Education Minister Sakina Itoo said winter holidays for schools in the Kashmir division from Nursery to Middle classes will likely start in the first week of December. She spoke to reporters in Srinagar and said the department reviewed the cold weather situation and discussed the schedule.
She said a meeting was held to address concerns from parents and schools about books and other academic needs. She added that instructions have already been issued.
She said the department is watching the weather and the academic calendar and will move ahead as conditions get colder.
