The School Education Department, Kashmir Division, has started the Grand Enrolment Campaign for the Academic Session 2025–26 from 1st November 2025 across all government schools.
The campaign focuses on increasing student enrolment, ensuring that every child has access to quality education, and spreading awareness about the facilities available in government schools.
All heads of institutions have been instructed to launch door-to-door awareness drives, involve teachers and local committees, and motivate parents to enroll their children in nearby schools.
The campaign highlights free education, scholarships, textbooks, uniforms, mid-day meals, and a range of co-curricular activities provided by government schools. Schools will also promote their success stories, academic results, and student achievements to attract new admissions.
Officials said the drive aims to retain existing students, re-enroll dropouts, and make education more accessible across the Kashmir Division. The campaign will continue throughout the admission period for the upcoming academic session.
