Srinagar, Feb 21: The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board has issued the provisional selection list for the post of Junior Engineer Civil in the Public Works R and B Department and Jal Shakti Department.
The posts were advertised under Advertisement Notification No. 03 of 2025 dated 24 April 2025 under Item Nos. 06 and 07. A total of 508 vacancies were notified.

Selection Process
The selection was made purely on the basis of a written examination. The OMR based test was conducted on 2 November 2025. The result was declared on 24 November 2025.
Candidates who qualified were called for document verification. The verification process was conducted at Jammu and Srinagar. Supplementary document verification for left out candidates was also held in December 2025.
The selection committee was constituted through Order No. 413 SSB of 2025 dated 23 December 2025 followed by Order No. 422 SSB of 2025 dated 26 December 2025.
The Board approved the provisional selection list in its 340th meeting held on 21 February 2026.
Important Points for Candidates
• The list is provisional and subject to court cases if any.
• It is also subject to outcome of any pending inquiry.
• Objections or representations can be submitted within 15 days from the date of notification.
• Candidates must send representations through email at selectionjkssb2026@outlook.com.
• No claims will be entertained after the deadline.
• If any candidate is found to have submitted false information, selection will be cancelled.
The notification has been issued under No. JKSSB Scry 3 2026 06 dated 21 February 2026.
