Tension prevailed at the Kothi Bagh Higher Secondary School examination centre today after aspirants appearing for the JKSSB Junior Engineer (JE) Electrical examination staged a protest.
According to candidates, question papers and answer sheets were collected back by the authorities just five minutes after being distributed. The sudden move created panic and confusion among aspirants, as no clarification was provided regarding the reason behind the withdrawal.

Candidates alleged that such irregularities fuel suspicions regarding transparency in the recruitment process.
The protesting students urged the Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) to immediately issue an explanation and ensure that merit and transparency are upheld in the selection process.
As of now, officials have not released an official statement on the incident.
