Kupwara, J&K – The Office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, Kupwara, has mandated a strict closure of all shops and establishments on Sunday, 28th July 2024, across Kupwara and Handwara Town. This directive is in accordance with the J&K Shops and Establishment Act, 1966.
Labour Officers, Labour Inspectors, and their support staff will monitor compliance with this regulation. Any violations will be reported on the next working day, and offenders will face legal action.
This measure is aimed at promoting orderly administration and ensuring adherence to local labour laws.
