Overview of Revised Examination Schedule
The Jammu & Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has officially released the revised date sheet for the Annual (Private) / Bi-annual 2026 examinations. The schedule covers Secondary School Examination (Class 10), Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11), Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12), and the Jammu & Kashmir State Open School (JK SOS) for Class 12. The decision follows three separate postponement notifications issued on 20, 22, and 24 July 2026. The revised timetable is now final and will be strictly adhered to across all examination centres in the Union Territories of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh.

Class 11 Schedule (Morning Shift – 9:30 AM)
The Higher Secondary Part-I (Class 11) examinations will be held in the morning shift starting at 9:30 AM. On 30 July 2026, both the Faculty of Science and Faculty of Arts will appear for Vocational Subjects. The list includes IT & ITES, Retail, Security, Healthcare, Tourism & Hospitality, Agriculture, Media & Entertainment, Beauty & Wellness, Physical Education & Sports, Telecommunication, Plumbing, Electronics & Hardware, Automotive, and Apparels, Made-Ups & Home Furnishing.
On 3 August 2026, the morning session will see Mathematics and Applied Mathematics papers for Science, while the Arts faculty will have Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Sociology.
Class 12 Schedule (Evening Shift – 1:30 PM)
The Higher Secondary Part-II (Class 12) examinations are scheduled in the evening shift from 1:30 PM. On 30 July 2026, the Faculty of Home Science and Faculty of Commerce will take Vocational Subjects, with Food Science for Home Science students. Other papers include Computer Science, Information Practices, Environmental Science, Functional English, Islamic Studies, Vedic Studies, Buddhist Studies, Electronics, Travel, Tourism and Hotel Management, Food Technology, and English Literature.
On 1 August 2026, the morning shift for Class 12 will cover Computer Science, Information Practices, Environmental Science, Functional English, Physical Education, Islamic Studies, Vedic Studies, Buddhist Studies, Electronics, Travel, Tourism and Hotel Management, Food Technology, and English Literature. The Faculty of Commerce will also appear for these subjects on the same day.
Class 10 Schedule (Morning Shift – 9:30 AM)
Secondary School Examination (Class 10) candidates will have their Mathematics paper on 4 August 2026, in the morning shift starting at 9:30 AM. This is the only paper currently listed for Class 10 in the revised schedule, with other subjects expected to be notified separately.
JK SOS Class 12 Schedule (Evening Shift – 1:30 PM)
The Jammu & Kashmir State Open School (JK SOS) Class 12 examination will be held on 30 July 2026 in the evening shift, covering Political Science and Mass Communication. Candidates are advised to report to their designated centres on time.
