Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education has indicated that the results of Class 10, 11 and 12 annual regular examinations are likely to be declared in a phased manner during January.
According to an official statement given to Greater Kashmir, JKBOSE Secretary Ghulam Hassan Sheikh said the board is aiming to announce the Class 10 result in the first week of January. He added that the Class 12 result is expected around the third week of January, while the Class 11 result will be declared by the end of the month.
The Secretary said that examinations for Class 12 concluded on December 9, while Class 11 exams ended on December 13. The Class 10 examination concluded in the last week of November. He explained that some time is required after theory exams to complete practical and vocational assessments and to collect award sheets.
He further said that the board is strictly following the set timeline and that the entire process is being personally monitored to ensure timely declaration of results.
This year, JKBOSE had also granted a 15 percent relaxation to students across Classes 10, 11 and 12 due to academic disruptions faced during the session.
Students have been advised to rely only on official announcements and trusted news sources for result-related updates and avoid rumours circulating on social media.
