The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board (JKSSB) has announced the schedule for the written examinations for the posts of Junior Engineer (Electrical) and Junior Engineer (Civil). According to an official notice, the JE (Electrical) exam will be held on August 24, 2025, while the JE (Civil) exam is scheduled for August 31, 2025.
Admit cards for the JE (Electrical) exam will be available for download from August 18, 2025, at 4:00 PM, and for the JE (Civil) exam from August 25, 2025, at 4:00 PM, through the JKSSB’s official website www.jkssb.nic.in. Candidates can download their admit cards by entering their name and date of birth or application number.
The Board has advised candidates to carefully read the instructions on the admit card. In case of difficulties in downloading, they can contact the JKSSB Help Desk at 0191-2461335 (Jammu) or 0194-2435089 (Srinagar), or email helpdesk.jkssb@gmail.com from August 18 onwards during office hours.
The notice also warns against misrepresentation or concealment of facts, impersonation, and fraud, stating that such acts will lead to cancellation of candidature and possible disciplinary action. Furthermore, there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
Candidates are urged to keep checking the JKSSB website for updates, as no separate communication will be sent by post.
Stepwise procedure to download the E-Admit Card:
1. Visit www.jkssb.nic.in
2. Click on the E-Admit Card link on the homepage
3. Enter name with other details or application number
4. Click on "View and Print E-Admit Card"
5. Download and print the card to carry on the examination day
