The School Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has revised the school timings for Kashmir Division and Winter Zones of Jammu Division, effective from July 8, 2025, as per Circular No. 06-JK (Edu) of 2025 issued on July 7.
📌 New Timings:
🔹 Schools within Municipal Limits:
⏰ 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM
🔹 Schools outside Municipal Limits:
⏰ 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
📚 Online Classes (Blended Learning Mode):
After the dispersal of students, online classes shall be held for classes above 5th standard only:
Municipal areas: 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM
Non-Municipal areas: 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM

▶️ Note: No online classes will be conducted for students in Primary Grades (Classes 1st to 5th).
The circular, signed by Peer Zahid Ahmad (JKAS), Deputy Secretary to the Government, directs all officials and institutions to strictly adhere to the revised schedule without any breach.
This change is aimed at optimizing academic schedules during summer while ensuring students' well-being.
