Summer Vacation Announced for Kashmir Division Schools from June 23 to July 7

The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has officially announced the summer vacation for all Government and recognized Private Schools up to Higher Secondary level across the Kashmir Division. As per the order (No. 167-DSEK of 2025) issued on June 21, 2025, the summer break will be observed from June 23, 2025, to July 7, 2025.

The decision comes following the approval of the competent authority and is applicable to both government-run and recognized private schools. The move aims to provide relief to students and staff amid rising temperatures during the peak summer period.

All concerned officers, including Divisional Commissioners, Deputy Commissioners, Chief Education Officers, and police officials, have been directed to ensure wide publicity and strict implementation of the vacation schedule. The Directorate has also requested media outlets to circulate the order for maximum awareness.

The order has been signed by the Director of School Education Kashmir.
