Speaking to the media, the Director of School Education said, "We are closely monitoring the situation along with the Divisional Commissioner and other key stakeholders. The information has been forwarded to the government, and a final decision regarding the reopening of schools will be taken today at 5:00 PM."

He emphasized that the safety of students remains the top priority. “We want to ensure everything is clear and safe before making any move. No decision will be rushed,” he added.
