Exams to Begin from Tentative Dates Around February 14-15, Says Chairman JKBOSE
December 20, Srinagar: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) is gearing up to release the datesheets for the annual regular examinations of classes 10th, 11th, and 12th within a few days. This was confirmed by Dr. Parikshat Singh Manhas, Chairman of JKBOSE, during an interaction with JKNS.
Dr. Manhas stated, "The datesheets for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th have been finalized and will be issued in the coming days, likely by December 25. The examinations will proceed as per the already announced government schedule, tentatively starting around February 14, 15, or 16."
The announcement comes as the academic calendar undergoes adjustments. Notably, the government, under the Omar Abdullah-led National Conference administration, had earlier decided to shift the academic session for classes up to the 9th grade from March to October-November starting this year. However, for classes 10th, 11th, and 12th, the academic session will revert to the October-November schedule from next year, as assured by the government.
