Stage 1: Eligibility & Academic Screening (60% Weightage)
This stage evaluates candidates based on eligibility criteria, academic performance, discipline relevance, and recognised certifications. Applicants must also submit a Statement of Purpose outlining their interest and specialisation areas.
Shortlisting (1:10 Ratio)
Up to ten candidates will be shortlisted against each available internship position. This competitive ratio ensures a robust selection pool for the next stage.
Stage 2: Track-Specific Proctored Assessment (40% Weightage)
The assessment is secure and time-bound, aligned with the candidate's chosen internship track. It will be conducted through online proctored platforms or designated centres like NIELIT.
Stage 3: Composite Merit List
A final merit list combines scores from both stages. Department allocation follows based on merit rank and project availability. The merit list will be published on the official internship portal.
