The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has announced new school timings for both government and recognized private schools in the Kashmir Division, effective from October 3, 2025.
According to Order No. 263-DSEK of 2025, issued on September 30, the new timings are as follows:
Schools within Srinagar Municipal limits: 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM
Schools outside Municipal limits of Srinagar District and other areas of Kashmir Province: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM
The Directorate has directed all schools to strictly follow the revised schedule without any deviation.

Copies of the order have also been sent to the concerned officials, including the Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Deputy Commissioners, Chief Education Officers, and Director Information for wide publicity.
